Before Your Visit

How to Help Your Appointment Go Smoothly

We want your visit to be as comfortable, relaxed, and efficient as possible. A few simple things can make a big difference!

1

Complete your registration before you arrive.
Please complete your online registration forms prior to your appointment whenever possible. This allows us to get you checked in and seen promptly.

2

If you haven’t completed your registration, please arrive 10–15 minutes early.
This will give you enough time to complete any necessary paperwork without delaying your appointment.

3

Bring your referral information.
If your dentist provided you with a referral note, paperwork, or other information, please bring it with you.

4

Avoid wearing your hair in a ponytail or bun.
Ponytails, buns, and large hair accessories can make it difficult for your head to rest comfortably against the dental chair’s headrest. Wearing your hair down, when possible, will help keep you comfortable during treatment.

5

Use the restroom before your procedure begins.
Endodontic procedures can take some time. Using the restroom beforehand will help you remain comfortable and minimize interruptions.

6

Try to remain as still as possible during treatment.
Your procedure will be performed using very high magnification. Even small movements can affect what we see through the microscope. Staying still helps us work precisely and efficiently and can help your procedure go more smoothly.

7

Need suction? Just let us know.
If you feel that you need additional suction during your procedure, simply signal us, and we’ll be happy to help. Remember, it’s perfectly okay to swallow your saliva during treatment.

8

Ensure your Phone is on Silent.

Silence your phone before entering the

treatment area. Phones ringing during treatment can be a huge distraction.

9

Most importantly… RELAX!
We know that having a root canal or other endodontic procedure can make some patients nervous. Try to relax your shoulders, breathe normally, and let us take care of you.

10

Our Goal Is Your Comfort!

If you are uncomfortable or need anything at any point during your procedure, please let us know. We can establish a simple hand signal before treatment begins so that you can communicate with us whenever necessary.

We’re here to make your visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
